This nicely produced limited edition contains Raul Brandão's first theatrical work, which his biographers had thought to have been lost. It also includes a critical, annotated preface of 12 unnumbered pages titled "Raul Brandão: um militar com alma de anarquista". The review has originally been performed in 1995 as a "Revista de despedida dos cadetes d'Infantaria do curso de 93-94, sob a direcção do Ex.mo Snr. Capitão Francisco dos Anjos Marinho", and was produced in "3 actos e 4 quadras". The piece was discovered in a pamphlet printed at Mafra by the Tip. do Batalhão n.º 3 da guarda fiscal, 1925, on the occasion of a reunion which occured in Mafra on the 30th anniversary of the original event.
