FIRST EDITIONS
of this important work. The first volume deals mainly with
the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. The series was under
the general editorship of Albuquerque (who died after
working on the first volume) and Madeira Santos (who
continued as general editor). Other authors of portions of
the first volume are Angela Domingues, Ilídio do Amaral,
Ilídio Baleno, Iva Maria Cabral, and Maria Manuel Torrão.
The second volume deals mainly with the period 1560–1650.
Other authors of portions of this volume are Iva Maria
Cabral, Maria João Soares, Maria Manuel Torrão, and Zelinda
Cohen. Authors of the third volume are António Leão Correia
e Silva, Ilídio Baleno, Iva Maria Cabral, Maria Emília
Madeira Santos, Maria João Soares, and Zelinda Cohen. The
work was projected to four volumes, of which only the first
three have appeared, plus the Corpo

With Madalena Fischer he published in English the
book Pakistan

we able to tell if there were any revisions. A single copy
of the dissertation is listed by WorldCat at the British
Library. COPAC adds the University of Warwick.
