Important new
reference work. There are 59 contributors including the two
editors. Carlos A.[lberto] Moreira Azevedo received his
doctorate in Ecclesiastical History from the Gregorian
University in Rome. He was formerly vice-reitor of the
Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and president of the
Comissão Científica para a Documentação
crítica de Fátima. At the time
this volume appeared he was a Professor in the Faculdade de
Teologia of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa,
secretário da CEP, and Auxiliary Bishop of Lisbon. Luciano
Cristino holds a Master’s degree in Theology and History
from the Gregorian University in Rome, and another in
History from the University of Coimbra. He is Director do
SESDI, do Santuário de Fátima. Among the other contributors
are Zília Osório de Castro, Fernando Catarino, Jesué
Pinharanda Gomes, Dom José da Cruz Policarpo, Peter
Stillwell, and Ana Cláudia Vicente.
