The first volume is subtitled (1922 a 1952); the second (1953 a 1973); the third (1974 a 1994). For a good part of the twentieth century the Parque Mayer was the center of Portugal's variety, comic, and musical theater, as well as being the scene of other attractions, such as boxing matches.
