as serras, was
originally published in 1931; another edition appeared in
the 1950s. On the lawyer, playwright and journalist Tomás
Ribeiro Colaço, secretary of the Juventudes Monárquicas and
defender of D. Duarte Nuno, and founder of the weekly
literary magazine Fradique,
who moved to Brazil in 1940 and died in Rio de Janeiro, see
