the Clube de Jornalistas, for his O
anacronista (1994). He has
published at least 8 volumes of poetry and 12 volumes of
children's literature (one of which, O
inventão, received the
Prémio Gulbenkian de Literatura Para Crianças in 1987). His
poetry is available in anthologies published in France,
Belgium, Spain, and the United States. He was editor of
the Jornal de
Notícias, Porto.
